Some of most important Medulin highlights are:

Cape Kamenjak

The protected nature park Cape Kamenjak is the southernmost part of the Istrian peninsula. With its 30 km of shore, it hides many beaches and coves, each of which is an oasis of peace and quiet for an ideal summer day at the beach. Kamenjak is well known for its beauty and crystal clear sea, and every year the number of visitors to this jewel of nature is growing. The scent of lavender and sage dominates the peninsula. There are 37 protected plant species here, which is quite a lot for such a small area. This is also home to 200 species of birds and several strictly protected species of shellfish. Another interesting fact about Cape Kamenjak is the dinosaur path along which life-size sculptures and additional educational information boards were placed. Along this path are also 12 dinosaur footprints. It is one of the few sites of fossilized footprints of almost 100 million years old dinosaurs.
