Pula Film Festival

While many centuries ago the Roman amphitheatre was the place where gladiators fought, the Arena is today the most beautiful open-air stage in Croatia where many concerts, festivals and various other cultural and musical events are held. One of the most famous events is the Pula Film Festival, which will be held for the 65th time in this Roman amphitheatre from the 1st century. As part of this festival, apart from the Arena, the films are also going to be shown on Kaštel and in the Valli cinema. At the Pula Film Festival, you have the opportunity to watch films of Croatian production as well as world famous movies, as the festival each year includes about 20 films from the most prestigious world shows – Venice, Cannes, Berlin, Rome and others.

Pula Film Festival traditionally opens every year with beautiful fireworks.
